ABOUT ME
I am a leadership development expert with a depth of experience in coaching, instructional design, and learning facilitation. For the past 25 years, I've coached and consulted with clients in healthcare, international development, federal agencies, and non-profits. My passion for learning, along with my knowledge of leadership tools and strategies, enables me to provide coaching that empowers and motivates my clients to reach new possibilities.

My coaching philosophy centers on 3 Cs:
Connect - Collaborate - Create
Connect
How do you find the coach that’s the best fit for you?
In my view, it’s all about connection. We connect with
each other to share and explore ideas, build trust,
create a process, identify gifts and challenges, consider
potential outcomes, and more. Indeed, connecting isn’t
just the first thing a coach and a client do, it’s what we
do all throughout the coaching relationship.
Connection is also the foundation we rely on to test and evaluate ideas
and outcomes. We connect not just to each other as human beings, but to our shared values, experiences, words, mindsets, etc. Author Peter Block said, “We must establish a personal connection with each other. Connection before content. Without relatedness, no work can occur.”
In my coaching practice, it’s connection before solutions.

Collaborate

Do I have the answers to your situation?
I’m 98% certain that I do not! By collaborating together, we can create magic.
Collaboration is vital in leadership. In my decades of working with leaders, the ability to collaborate with anyone and everyone is vital to success. As a leader, you may have a good idea, but it is partnership with others that often brings the best ideas.
Create
Look back on your life – what have you created?
While your list is likely long and full of interesting stories, do you find yourself saying, “Well, I’m not that creative.”? Look back again and all around you – I challenge you to let go of this idea. When we hold a growth mindset our creativity knows no bounds.
Together, through coaching, you create new outcomes and opportunities. A colleague of mine once told me that my superpower is always asking a “What if…” question. Let me use my superpower to assist you as you imagine your “What if’s”.

"You can't use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have."
